Our editorial mission
CalculatingWealth.com publishes financial education — not financial advice. Every article, lesson, calculator explainer and report is written to help readers reason about money clearly, with sources and assumptions made visible.
Who writes and reviews
Editorial direction is led by Keiron Brown, Psy.D. (Founder & Lead Educator, CalculatingWealth). Calculator logic and educational content are reviewed against published formulas, public datasets (see Data Sources) and our Methodology.
Sourcing
- Primary sources (BLS, FRED, IRS, SSA, CFPB) are preferred over secondary commentary.
- Every numeric claim should be traceable to a public source or to a clearly-labeled illustrative example.
- We do not publish market forecasts or stock picks.
Accuracy & corrections
- Articles show a published date and an updated date when material changes are made.
- Reader-reported corrections are reviewed within five business days.
- Material corrections are noted at the bottom of the affected article.
